RHYMING FUN and a SPECIAL BIRTHDAY!

This week we've been having lots of rhyming fun!  We've learned new songs (check out one of them in a video below), played lots of games and worked on some fun rhyming homework each day!

Rhyming BINGO

Kourtney WON!

On Wednesday, we celebrated Cayden's birthday!  Happy Birthday Cayden!

On Thursday, we played Rhyming Robots!
First, Miss Hall gave out 1/2 of a robot's body to each child, she called them up and the kids raised their hand if they had the matching part of the robot!

The next time, the kids got new robot parts and found their matching partners ALL BY THEMSELVES!  OH MY WORD, it was like a FIRST GRADE CLASS!!!!

Finally, I put sweet Miss Hall on the spot and to the test by asking her to teach the class an awesome rhyming song!  She did GREAT!  Take a look at our babies rhyming!!!

Halloween!

We had such an awesome Halloween at school!  So much of a good time, I missed a lot of pictures! :)

Not sure why this picture looks like this, but I wanted to say I hope your child enjoys their Spookley the square pumpkin!  You can watch the story in the video below.

On Monday, the Auburn Fire Department visited with the fire trailer.  The kids visited during PE and came back with hats.  I kept them until Tuesday so I could do a group photo!!!

Thanks to the Hamiter family for purchasing the fall candy mix that Mrs. Kimbrell looked everywhere for, we were able to complete a fun, edible math activity on Halloween!

We also got to decorate baby pumpkins!!!  Thanks Heath, Scotch and Yost families for helping with these supplies!
The kids were SOOOOOOOOO disappointed not bringing them home on Tuesday but the glue just wasn't dry enough! :)

Last, but not least, our sweet jack-o-lantern is outside in our courtyard, beside our door, decomposing.  We read a book called Pumpkin Jack and are very excited to watch the decomposition process!  Check out that book below!
