Let's play catch up!

Hi parents!  Lately, blogger and I have not been seeing eye-to-eye!  I can't upload pictures that I've taken?  I did a post yesterday with Mrs. Wishy Washy videos just to see if I could embed html!  So, as I am typing...if you see our class pictures, you know I got it to work.  If this post ends in just Pete the Cat videos that I have embedded, I will be contacting Blogger for help! :)

EEEK!!!!!  THERE ARE PICTURES!!!!  I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!

Okay, let me get back to the week! :)

I'm sure you noticed in your child's planner on Monday that the whole week's worth of stickers/Q's were in there!  You cannot imagine how it kills me to do this, BUT it saves so much time each day!  So, don't look ahead, just focus on each day! :)

This week I got to sit down with each child in groups of 2 and teach a new math game: Roll & Stack!  The kids LOVE it and it's the Q for today!  I hope they are as excited as they were playing it when they tell you all about it!

The kids work in pairs and roll two die, add up the numbers and build that number with cubes!  They stack them and put them on the corresponding number.  The first person to fill up their game board WINS! :)

Don't forget tomorrow is our last day for the book fair (and it closes at 12:00)!  

Please try to send in 1 canned or nonperishable item for our food drive!

Keep raising that Trike Trek money (our PTO has graciously offered to give back 10% of what our class raises to our classroom for us to purchase supplies--I'm going to be using this money to buy new apps for our iPads)!

And last, but not least, tomorrow is All Pro Dads at 6:45 in the gym!  Hope you can make it!
