Happy 100th Day of School! We are officially 100 days smarter!!!!
Please excuse the pictures that are sideways---at home, it's not easy to manipulate them in blogger! :(
This was on the door as a treat when the kids arrived Wednesday morning!
We are 100 days smarter!
We did several fun rotation activities! Take a look...
We made 100 gum balls in a gum ball machine! Once we were finished we graphed how many of each different color.
Here is an example!
Presleigh (when I take a photo, it is usually of them working, she and Andrue both happened to look up as it flashed! :) )
Andrue
Nellie
We also made self portraits of what we will look like when we are 100 years old!
Tanner
Lucy and Ella (bubble gum machines)
Tre and Vincent
Ella
Kallissa and Lucy
I love how they turned out! :)
We made necklaces by counting out 10 groups of 10 Fruit Loops and then stringing them onto yarn!
Reynaldo and Bryn
Presleigh made the CUTEST shirt, I had to take a picture!
Tre
Brian
Miles, a student from my class last year, rescued a baby opossum. He brought her to share with the class last year (I even held her on my shoulder). This year, he brought Rosie to share with his first grade friends and I am SO glad he thought of me...I had to see her! She is SO BIG and surprisingly SO SOFT!
Who gets to hold an opossum on the 100th day of school---:) ME!
:)
We also made 100th day crowns, however it was an independent job and I didn't get any pictures in action!
Happy 100th Day of School!
With my best,
