On Monday, we began our penguin construction! First, the design crew met to come up with a plan:
1. gronup (we will make a grown-up penguin)
2. papr (we will make it out of paper)
3. 3 and a haf fet tol (he will be 3 1/2 feet tall)
4. paint blakc, wihite, yollow, orange (we will paint him black, white, yellow and orange)
5. lef siz (we will make it life sized)
6. weth and egg (we will make it with an egg)
7. it is a boy

Once we had the body, the painting crew could begin.

When we returned on Friday, there was still SNOW!!!! During recess I had to take some pictures! :)
And, last, but not least...
Our WONDERFUL principal Mrs. Snyder, sent us an article that she recently discovered and shared with the faculty. I found it so moving and profound to me as a teacher, I HAD to implement it! I hope you take a moment to read the article and then see what we are doing in the classroom!
