Earth Day Activities...

For Earth Day this week we completed several different activities!  We made a tissue paper earth!  We are going to compile a list of ways we can help the earth and put them on the front!

We planted bean seeds this week in baggies to hang in our window as we watch them grow.

We also planted something special inside the cups below!

The chicks have hatched!!!!!!

We started with 20 eggs in our incubator.  After candling them, we found 14 chicks growing.   

We started with three babies hatching.

Then four.

Then five.

Then six.

Then seven.

Then eight.

Then nine and ten!

For the past 21 days, we've been working on our chicken observation journal.  We draw what is happening inside the day!

Once they dried out in the incubator for 24 hours, we transferred them to the fish tank with a heating lamp!

They are so much fun!
